As a part of the Provocations Track @ SloMoCo, we invite you to join us for an informal discussion on the theme of: what escapes computation in interactive performance? This event will involve a lightning round of provocations, breakout rooms for more intimate discourse, and collective meta-reflection on what escapes this conversation on what escapes computation!

The Provocations track at SloMoCo 2021 is an invitation for critical discourse on the aesthetic and ethical dimensions of movement analysis and representation across disciplines. Building on the Provocations Project of 2018 and 2019 at the Conference on Movement and Computing (MOCO), the goal of this ongoing initiative is to create space for generative exchange regarding novel and systemic conditions that affect cross-disciplinary and collaborative practices at the intersection of movement and computing.
